I started cooking at the age of 8.
My family is from Louisiana and I clung to my mom in the kitchen. She would say” here girl, cut this onion, cut this pepper".The next thing I knew I was the Sous Chef perfecting my knife skills and mastering mirepoix.
In 2019 I began my chemo treatments for breast cancer and all I did was watch cooking shows (all of them). This helped me keep my appetite during the treatments and as my health got better, I could not wait to get in the kitchen and make everything from scratch.
My signature dish, you ask?
I really like making appetizers and small plates (amuse-Bouche). But I love making lasagnas; traditional, eggplant, white Alfredo, seafood, veggie
