Raquel Hill

I started cooking at the age of 8.

My family is from Louisiana and I clung to my mom in the kitchen. She would say” here girl, cut this onion, cut this pepper".The next thing I knew I was the Sous Chef perfecting my knife skills and mastering mirepoix.

In 2019 I began my chemo treatments for breast cancer and all I did was watch cooking shows (all of them). This helped me keep my appetite during the treatments and as my health got better, I could not wait to get in the kitchen and make everything from scratch.

My signature dish, you ask?

I really like making appetizers and small plates (amuse-Bouche). But I love making lasagnas; traditional, eggplant, white Alfredo, seafood, veggie

Looking forward to building my brand. Stay tuned for the videos, where I cook, do a little dancing, and share tips and techniques.

I love to cook; it’s how I show love and I want to share it with the world. Cooking helped me heal.
